Our Process

Every Tess Mann gown is an artisanal commission, meticulously handcrafted over a dedicated 16-week timeline. Our made-to-order process ensures that your gown is created with the focused attention and high-artistry standards of a traditional couture atelier.

I. Selection & Fit Verification
Your journey begins with the selection of your silhouette. For brides who prefer professional guidance, we offer a "Verify Size Later" option at checkout. This complimentary service includes a private virtual consultation with our atelier team post-purchase to finalize your measurements, ensuring your gown is cut to an impeccable fit before production begins.

II. The Measurement Guide
To ensure absolute precision, we provide a comprehensive Measurement Guide. This resource walks you through the essential points of measure required for your silhouette. Whether you are measuring at home or with a professional tailor, this guide serves as the foundation for your gown’s structural integrity.

III. Material & Artistry
Once your size is confirmed, we begin the sourcing of your gown’s premium foundations. We utilize only the most luxurious materials: 100% silk satin, fine silk tulle, and hand-selected French laces. Each piece of Swarovski beading and crystal is applied by hand, creating the multidimensional shimmer and textural depth that defines our collection.

IV. The 16-Week Craftsmanship
Over the course of 16 weeks, your gown is brought to life by our skilled artisans. From the structural precision of the internal corset to the delicate finishing of the hem, every stitch is intentional. This dedicated timeline is essential to maintaining our uncompromising standard of couture excellence.

V. Final Inspection & Delivery
Before leaving our studio, each gown undergoes a rigorous multi-point quality assessment. We recommend commencing this 16-week process at least six months prior to your wedding date to allow for production and any final local tailoring you may desire.
